Bring the family (and the fun) to our Noon Year’s Event Run 🎉, now at the new location: Meadow View Elementary School 🏫 in Oconomowoc! We’ve expanded this daytime New Year’s Eve celebration to include a 5K 🏃♂️, 1.5 mile walk, alongside the beloved free kids’ run 👧👦.
Whether you're racing or walking, enjoy all the excitement in the comfort of a large, heated building ❄️🔥—perfect for staying warm before and after the event. It’s the perfect way to ring in the noon year with community, laughter, and a cozy place to celebrate!
This event is brought to you through a partnership with the City of Oconomowoc Parks and Recreation Department, Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC, and the Silver Circle Foundation, 501(c)(3).
Activities Include 🎉
🎲 Play games and win make-and-take kits—get crafty at home later!
🏃♂️ Races for ages 1 and up! Shuffle through the snow, snag a finisher woodle, and smile for finish photos (posted after the event). The Kiddos 1K event & activities are free, but registration is required.
🎶 Tunes to rock out to while you enjoy the festivities.
📸 Selfie station with fun props—smile and capture the memory!
🎊 Be ready at noon for the official ball drop, confetti cannons, noisemakers, and a whole lot of fun.
At 12 p.m. sharp, join the countdown as the Noon-Year’s Ball drops from the Western Lakes Fire Department’s ladder truck—a celebration like no other! 🚒✨

👧👦 The Kiddos 1K is safely contained within the Meadow View Elementary School grounds.

🚶 The 1.5 Mile Walk follows the path around Oconomowoc’s newest parks.

🏃♀️ The 5K Run combines the path with neighborhood roads around the school.
All courses are super flat and fast—perfect for every pace! 💨

PLEASE BRING YOUR EMAIL RECEIPT WITH YOU!
You don’t need to print it, but we do need to scan the QR code on your email receipt. Please have your email accessible on your mobile device, or save a screenshot of the QR code in your photo library for easy access.

*Kiddos do not need to pickup their bibs at 9:00am. Packet pickup will stay open until 11:15, but you will want to be early!
👥 Picking Up Multiple Packets
If you are picking up for more than a couple of people, please do one of the following:

Put all of their QR codes on one sheet of paper, OR

Write all of their names on one sheet of paper (Last Name, First Name, T-shirt size).
This will make packet pick-up smoother and easier for you and your team. 👍
🪵 Finisher Woodles
Every participant will receive a custom Finisher Woodle from Ridgeway Woodworks. These unique keepsakes are crafted right here in Oconomowoc using recycled wood sourced from the Lake Country area 🌲.
Be sure to check out their website for Woodle Ornaments—they make the perfect last-minute gift! 🎁
What's a woodle?
☕ Hot Chocolate!
Our charity partner Silver Circle Foundation, Inc 501(c)3 will be selling hot chocolate at the event.
All proceeds will be donated to the Downtown Oconomowoc Christmas Lights Fund.
Hot chocolate will be $2.00 per cup and includes all the "fixings".

👕 T-Shirts
Race shirts are cotton unisex and are guaranteed for participants registered in the 5K or 1.5 Mile Walk by noon on December 17. After that, shirts will be available only while online supplies last. Don’t miss your chance to grab a custom race shirt—register early! 🎽👟
The Kiddos 1K does not include a shirt, but t-shirts are available for purchase during online registration until December 17.

📦 New! Preassembled Team Packets
We’re making race day even easier for teams! Here’s how it works:
If your team has 4 or more members by Thursday at noon, we’ll preassemble your entire team’s packets—including:
👕 Race shirts
🏷️ Bibs labeled with each runner’s name, shirt size, bib number, gender, age, and event
These will be ready in one convenient bundle for pickup at the scheduled packet pickup.
🚨 Important:
One person (Team Captain or designee) should pick up the entire team’s packet. Make sure you tell your team where you are going to meet them to distribute packets.
No individual pickups will be allowed for qualifying teams.
Teams with fewer than 4 members can still pick up individually.

Walkers Welcome!
Walkers are welcome to join any distance. Just select your desired distance when registering and check the course closure time to ensure you can finish before the course closes.
Although the Walk Division is timed, it’s not competitive, and there are no age group awards. However, walkers will still receive a finisher woodle! 🎉

The top overall male and female runners in each distance will receive a custom award provided by our partner, Ridgeway Woodworks.
🥇 Age Group Awards
The top 3 male and female finishers in 5-year age groups will receive a custom woodle. Age groups start at 0-14, then continue in 5-year increments.
🎉 Finisher Woodles
Every participant will receive a magnet woodle crafted by Ridgeway Woodworks as a special keepsake

Kiddos Run for Free!
Kids can participate in the FREE Kiddo's 1K if a parent is registered for the event. 🎉
Here’s what they’ll get:
- A race bib
- A finisher medal
- A puppy, sugar straw, energy drink & kazoo!
- Ok, one of the above bullet points is not true
Important: Registration is required for kids to participate.

Silver Circle Sports Events
This event is professionally produced, timed, owned, and managed by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC. We handle the details, timing, and race-day flow so your only job is to show up and send it.
What is rucking?
Rucking is a physical activity that involves walking or hiking with a weighted backpack (called a rucksack). The term comes from the military, where soldiers train and operate carrying heavy loads over long distances. In civilian fitness and recreation, rucking is gaining popularity as a versatile and low-impact workout. We now offer it at all Chilly Willy Events!

Although the Ruck Divisions are timed, it’s not competitive, and there are no age group awards. However, ruckers will still receive a finisher woodle!
