Go With Your Gut 5K

GI Associates is hosting a Go With Your Gut 5K event on April 25, 2026 with the proceeds being donated to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. Founded in 1967, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Wisconsin Chapter brings together patients, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners through events like Take Steps walks and other local fundraisers to advance the fight against Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Funds raised support groundbreaking inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research aimed at improving treatments and finding cures, as well as vital patient education programs that help people better understand and manage their disease. The foundation also help power advocacy efforts that work to improve access to care, protect patients’ rights, and influence public policy that affects the IBD community. In addition, proceeds help sustain local chapter initiatives in Wisconsin, ensuring that patients and caregivers in the state benefit directly from national advances in research, resources, and services.
