Hope Starts Here 5K Walk

Join us at Pfiffner Park for the 2nd annual Hope Starts Here 5K Walk. This walk aims to build a culture of prevention, early detection, and lifesaving outcomes for those who face breast care challenges in our community. We welcome walkers of all ages! There will be family-friendly activities throughout the afternoon.

                                                          Together we can build hope one step at a time.

How It Works

The Hope Starts Here 5K Walk is less about racing and more about having fun! The walk is an untimed event where participants will journey through an interactive route to honor those who have battled, still fighting breast cancer, and those who are no longer here with us today. 100% of funds raised stay local and support efforts to support breast patients in our community. This is a family-friendly walk!

1.       Day-of registration begins on October 1st at 12pm next to the band shell at Pfiffner Park.

2.      The walk will begin at 1:00 pm starting with Survivor Celebration, where we will honor breast cancer survivors and    their families, those currently fighting, and the memories of those no longer with us.

3.       Saint Michael’s Hospital in conjunction with champions of hope will be making an EXCITING announcement.

The Hope Is Building Campaign is about removing the barriers to breast care for your mother, your wife, your neighbor, your sister, your best friend, your daughter, and yourself.

Not able to attend on October 1st? Register anyway and we will mail you a personal t-shirt right to your home!

Children under the age of 12 are FREE, but will not receive a shirt. 

This is a Rain or Shine Event. Please plan accordingly.

Packet Pick-up is Saturday, September 30th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Pfiffner Park. Walkers will receive their t-shirt, bib for personalization, and itineray of the walk. 

 Registration Cut Off

Participants are welcome to register until 1:00 p.m. on the day of the event. However, a t-shirt cannot be guaranteed for any registrations received after September 25, 2017.
