Description
Join the Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department for the 6th Annual Hibernation Hustle!
Will Jimmy the Groundhog see his shadow tomorrow? Choose a blue or yellow shirt based on whether you think it will be a long winter or an early spring!
When: Sunday, February 2, 8 AM
Where: Cannery Square
Distance: 5K run or walk; Kids Dash will be ~150 meters
Prizes given to the top male, female, and non-binary finishers overall and age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Online registration closes on Friday, January 30th at noon. Registration is online only, laptops will be available at pre-registration/packet pick up for participants to register if needed.
Packet Pick Up:
Saturday, January 31st, 10AM-12PM at Westside Community Building (2598 W. Main Street, Sun Prairie)
Participants can register at packet pick up on Saturday and on race day from 6:30am-7:30am at City Hall (300 East Main Street). City Hall is right across the street from the start line! Registration price will increase to $35 for the 5k and $12 for the kids dash.
Online, credit card payment only. Fees will apply to credit card transactions.
Choose your own prediction for Groundhog Day by picking your shirt! You can make your own prediction by selecting the shirt that matches your prediction! Long winter or early spring! Register by January 12 to guarantee a shirt size and color.
