VIRTUAL Word On The Street 5K

Word on the Street is going virtual!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and our desire to keep our community safe and healthy, Word On the Street 5K Run/Walk is going virtual this year.

How does a virtual event work?

Run or walk a 5K (Kids 1/3 mile) any time on May 2.

Choose your route:

• take to the treadmill
• run in your neighborhood
• follow the suggested course map -- feel free to run a loop beginning at any point and proceeding in either direction.

Share photos on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using our special hashtag #veronawots2020.

No water stop, refreshments, or traffic control will be provided.

T-shirts and race packets can be picked up curbside at the library beginning May 26.

Awards will be given for most creative social media posts.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Verona Public Library Endowment Fund.

COST:

5K- $33 (Includes Processing Fee)
Kids' Run-$14.50 (Includes Processing Fee)
*T-Shirts can only be guaranteed for registrations completed on or before 4/24/20
 **Online Registration ends at 5:00 PM on 5/2/20

T-SHIRT and PACKET PICK-UP:

Available for curbside pick up at the Verona Public Library beginning May 26.
