Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation Runway 5K & 3K Walk

Grab your friends and family for an unforgettable experience on the runway and taxiways of Waukesha County Airport!

This 3K walk and professionally chip-timed, USATF certified 5K course offer a unique experience for families, walkers, first-time runners and seasoned athletes looking for a challenge to achieve a personal best.

The family-friendly event will include planes, live-music, entertainment and access to the airport like never before. Both the 3K walk and 5K run will begin at 7:30 p.m. and conclude with awards and fireworks.

Event Schedule:

5 p.m. – Gates open for parking
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Registration, music, entertainment
7:30 p.m. – 5K run/ 3K walk
Awards and fireworks to follow

Cost:

·        Registration fee before Friday, June 1 - $30/runner, $25/walker

·        Registration fee after Friday, June 1 - $35/runner, $30/walker

·        Child (age 10 and under) - $20

Awards will be provided in the following categories:

Team with most participants
Top fundraiser
Top 3 overall male/female​​
Women (top individual in each age group): 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Men (top individual in each age group): 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Runners/walkers with strollers are welcome. Please leave pets at home for this event; animals will not be allowed into the event.

Registration includes an official event shirt, post-race food and refreshments. Please note that shirt is NOT guaranteed for those who register after June 30. Online registration closes Monday, July 9. 

All proceeds raised will benefit the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation and its mission to fund advancements in cancer research and compassionate care.
