Description

The Snekkevik is one of Wisconsin's oldest ski races held each year at Nine MIle Forest near Wausau WI.  The Nine Mile Forest Ski Trails are one of the top XC ski destinations in Wisconsin with over 30K in groomed trails.  There are a variety of races with varying distances and techniques to give you the type of race you are looking for in January.  The Snekkevik has races for all ages. 

Race Schedule

 

All races will be mass start.

8:00 AM –    Registration Opens
9:00 AM – 12 K Classic Adults 19 & Over
10:30 AM – 6 K Classic HS Boys  – Classic
10:45 AM – 6 K Classic HS Girls – Classic
11:15 AM – 3.5 K Classic MS Boys  – Classic
11:30 AM – 3.5 K MS Girls – Classic
11:45 AM – 12K and 24K Freestyle – Adults 19 & Over
12:00 Noon –  1-2K Children’s Event 9 & under (not timed)
