MADACC Move More Wag More Challenge

April is Active Dog Month and here at MADACC, we have created a virtual challenge to get you and your dog, or just you if you have a cat, moving! Chose a challenge that will make you work, but is realistic for you and your pet, by choosing the 30-, 60- or 90-mile distance from April 1- 30th.

Who? Everyone is welcome to join the fun. You participate from anywhere in the US. Get moving with your family, friends, and of course your pet! Get the whole family active by involving the kids, make it a family affair! Create a team and work together to get moving! Refer 5 friends and you can get your registration waived!

What? Walk, Run, or Wag your way through a 30-, 60-, or 90- mile distance over the course of April. April is “Active Dog Month” and we want you to get moving! Chose a distance that is a challenge, but doable for you and your pet. You can walk, run or hike as many miles a day as you want and then log those miles online. You will receive a t-shirt, nylon swag bag, neck gaiter, and other finisher swag for participating in the challenge. Swag will be mailed out mid-April or can be picked up at packet pick-up April 15th 10-6:30, April 16th 10-6:30, April 17th 10-4:30, and April 18th 10-4:30 at MADACC (located at 3839 West Burnham Street).  If you chose to have the packet shipped, there is a shipping charge.

Where? Anywhere! You can travel those miles wherever you want and share your journey with us on the MADACC Facebook Event page or use the hashtag #MADACCMOVEMORE on social media to connect. 

When? Registration is open from now until March 31st. Miles can be logged from April 1 through the 30th. Fundraising can be done from now until April 30th! 

How? Sign up online, create a team and set up your fundraising page here. Log miles as you go, share pictures and stories from your journey and encourage your team as you go. 

Why? Get moving to kick-start the spring on a healthy note, because active pets are happy and healthy! Raise money for MADACC and help support the homeless injured, abandoned, and neglected animals of Milwaukee County. With your help, no animal will not receive the medical care it needs to thrive, regardless of the cost. Choose a goal and be eligible for fundraising prizes and get your registration fee waived if you raise $200 for the pets at MADACC! Fundraising prizes include- 1st Prize Series 6 iWatch, 2nd place Powerbeats Pro headphones, and 3rd prize $100 Amazon gift card.
