Description

AN EVENT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY AND FOR ALL LEVELS!

Location: 
UW-Whitewater, Williams Center Pool

Come join the fun!  This is a great way to start off your triathlon season!
Do it by yourself or as part of a relay team.  Teams can be co-ed or single sex teams, 2 or 3 person

We will NOT have ON-SITE registration.  Read important dates below.

General Meetings will be offered, via Zoom, either on Friday evening and/or Saturday.  Links will be sent to all registrants race week.  Look in your junk mail!   *** It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ATTEND A ZOOM MEETING so you know the race course ***

Watch this website for ALL race details, maps, wave assignments, etc. 

Important Dates:
Thursday, March 31st, at midnight:  PRICE GOES UP
Sunday, April 10th, at midnight:  Shirt orders close.
Saturday, April 23rd, at midnight:  Registration closes for triathlon and aquabike races.
     Last date to make any special requests to swim near or with a friend or family member.
Sunday, April 24th, by midnight:  Waves & start times are posted to this website.

Events Offered (The Olympic distances will be limited to 72 racers, COMBINED, between the TRIATHLON & AQUABIKE):
1.  SPRINT Tri:  500 yd swim, 13 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run    (wave start range is 10:15am-12:30pm)
2.  OLYMPIC Tri:  1000 yd swim, 26.5 mile bike, and 6 mile run     (wave start range is 8am-10am)
3.  DUATHLON:  2 mile run, 13 mile bike, 2 mile run         
4.  AQUABIKE SPRINT:  500 yd swim, 13 mile bike     (wave start range is 11am-12:30pm)
5.  AQUABIKE OLYMPIC:  1000 yd swim, 26.5 mile bike   (wave start range is 9am-10am)
6.  TRIATHLON RELAYS:  Either SPRINT distance or OLYMPIC

RELAY TEAMS - PLEASE READ
The first relay member should register and pay on-line.  All other team members will register on-line, then use the checkout code RELAY_MEMBER, so they are not charged event fees.

About the J-Hawks
We are a 501c3 not-for-profit youth organization, that offers swim lessons and a youth swim team.  No child is ever turned away due to financial struggles.  The monies raised, from our triathlons, are vital in allowing us to offer free and reduced programs, to area children.

Sprint Triathlon - Sprint Aquabike - Duathlon:
* 1st - 3rd place awarded in each division (age groups, relays, athena/clydesdale)
* Age groups:  14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, etc

Olympic Triathlon - Olympic Aquabike:
* 1st - 3rd place awarded in each division (19&U, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)

OLYMPIC RACES - WAVE ASSIGNMENTS

Check your start time. 
Wave 1 athletes should be there between 7:15am - 7:45am. 
Race packet pickup will open at 7:15am (please do not disrupt setup if you get there early).
All other athletes should arrive 1 HOUR BEFORE your scheduled start time.  

The transition area stays open throughout the day.  Bike racks will be assigned by race division.

The Olympic triathletes will run this loop twice, turning around near the football stadium. 
All racers must wear their bib numbers on their front, during the run portion of this event and into the finish line.

SPRINT RACE - WAVE ASSIGNMENTS

Check your start time.  Please be at the event 1 HOUR BEFORE your scheduled start time.  
Race packet pickup will open at 7:15am (please do not disrupt setup if you get there early).
The transition area stays open throughout the day.  Bike racks will be assigned by race division.
Race packet pickup closes at 11:30AM.

DUATHLON RACERS

The duathlon will start at approximately 8:15am.
Runners will be placed in order of run times (we'll state "runners under 18 min line up, runners under 20 min lineup, etc"

Race packet pickup will open at 7:15am (please do not disrupt setup if you get there early).
Please pickup your race packets by 7:45am 
The transition area stays open throughout the day.  Bike racks will be assigned by race division. 
Once you are done racing, please remove your bike from the transition area, so volunteers can take down the bike racks, once they are empty.
