Our Triathlons are a GO!!!!!!!!!!!
We are beyond excited as well as grateful to the city of Whitewater.
Please note - registration will close once we meet our race capacity of 120 participants
Come join the fun! This is a great way to race in person and stay socially distanced
Do it by yourself or as part of a relay team. Teams can be co-ed or single sex teams, 2 or 3 person
RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AS WE NEED TO ORGANIZE OUR WAVES.
Events Offered:
1. Adult SPRINT Tri: 500 yd swim, 13.4 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run
2. Adult OLYMPIC Tri: 1000 yd swim, 26.8 mile bike, and 6.2 mile run
3. Duathlon: 2 mile run, 13.4 mile bike ride, 2 mile run
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE TRIATHLONS:
The City of Whitewater is allowing us to use the Whitewater Aquatic Center, located at 580 S. Elizabeth Street. We are so truly grateful for this facility. What this means for you as a racer, as well as your safety, is that you will not be biking or running through town. Thus, your transition area for the bike and run will be at Starin Park, located at 504 W. Starin Road. Once you complete your swim, you will drive to Starin Park to begin your bike and run legs. Your overall time will not include the time it takes to get you from the pool to Starin Park. All races will end at Starin Park
Triathlon Race Packet Pickup is at the Whitewater Aquatic Center. You will pick up your chip, paper race number, and shirt (if you ordered one). There will be 1 swimmer to a lane. I'll send out start times next week.
The Duathlon Race Packet Pickup is at Starin Park.
RELAY TEAMS - PLEASE READ
Only 1 relay member registers on-line. All other team members complete a paper waiver form.

About the J-Hawks
We are a 501c3 not-for-profit youth organization, that offers swim lessons and a youth swim team. No child is ever turned away due to financial struggles. The monies raised, from our triathlons, are vital in allowing us to offer free and reduced programs, to area children.
We truly appreciate your support and are always looking for feedback on how we can improve.

RACE DAY REMINDERS - PLEASE READ
Relay note for swim to bike chip exchange:
For swim to bike, your swimmer just needs to hand you the chip, after they are out the pool door and over the mat. Since the clock stops on the pool exit (after they run over the timing mat), it does not matter if the chip is handed off at the pool or the park. Your biker just needs to have it so they can start their bike race. Bikers are individually started. After the bike start, the biker and runner will exchange at your bike rack.
