Put Homelessness to Rest Postponed
New Date: TBD - We will need to work with the City of Whitewater to Reschedule
It is with much sadness that we are announcing our
"Put Homelessness to Rest" 5K Run/Walk and Kid's Fun Run
will need to be postponed due to COVID-19 and Governor Evers "Safer at Home" Mandate
This was not an easy decision, but in watching what is happening around our state, country and world, it is truly the only decision that makes sense.
However, Governor Evers did say we can go outside for a walk or run and so we have created a FREE Virtual 5K Run/Walk Event: https://runsignup.com/Race/WI/Randolph/PutHomelessnessToRestVIRTUAL5KRUNWALK
Please share our event with your running or walking friends. We are looking forward to a truly fun event once we are able to go back to our normal way of living. In fact, we are going to use this run/walk as a form of celebration.
Although we know times are very tough right now and many of us are out of work, please know we are continuing to support our families in need in the Whitewater School District. If you would like to make a donation to our cause, please click on the donation link on our page.

Once we are able to gather publicly, we will work with the City of Whitewater to set a new date.
Join us for a great 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run starting at Starin Park in Whitewater benefiting our homeless students in the Whitewater School District.
Every participant receives a goodie bag and finisher award.
All Youth registered by April 10, receive a FREE t-shirt.
Events begin and end at Starin Park Whitewater WI
5k Fun Run/Walk : This 5K run/walk has some challenging hills and is an out and back course. Runner/walkers will start at Starin Park, head through UW-Whitewater campus out to the nature preserve and will run through the lower part of the preserve before turning left onto Burr Oak Trail where you will reach the turnaround point.
Kids Fun Run: This will be a 1/4 mile run for youth ages 12 and under. Finisher ribbons will be handed out as youth cross the finish line and each youth will also receive a goody bag.
7am - Run Registration and Packet Pick up: $20 (there is an additional fee if you would like a t-shirt)
8:00am - Youth Fun Run
8:30am - 5K Run/Walk Begins
9:30am - Awards
