WinMan Early Bird Ski Race

The Early Bird Ski Race at WinMan Trails is a great way to kick off the ski season with early winter fun and friendly competition. This freestyle event welcomes both skate and classic techniques and is a perfect opportunity for teams and individuals to get back on snow. The race is a non-flouro race.

We often see strong participation from middle and high school teams, and this year we're excited to add a new Citizen Race for adult skiers looking to join the action. Whether you're out to compete or just ready to enjoy a winter morning in the Northwoods, there's something for everyone. 

All proceeds from the event will go toward grooming and maintaining WinMan's winter trail system this season, so every stride supports the trails you love.

Race Schedule:

• 9:00 AM – Registration & Check-In
• 10:00 AM – High School 5k Race ($12)
• 11:00 AM – Middle School 3k Race ($12)
• 12:00 PM – Citizen 10k Race ($30)

• We’re looking for volunteers to help make race day unforgettable. Guide racers at the start line, serve up hot cocoa and cookies, or pick up signage when all is said and done. It’s a fun, low-key way to be part of the magic—even if you’re not racing.
