For over thirty years Arthurdale Heritage, Inc. (AHI) has worked to preserve the history of the nation's first New Deal Homestead Community, started under the Roosevelt Administration. AHI was created by volunteers, many of whom were original homesteaders, to preserve their family and community history. AHI has since become essential to maintaining northern West Virginia's economy through tourism and promoting education about the Depression Era.
Join us after the races for other fun family activities including a petting zoo, pictures with Eleanor Roosevelt, and a free tour of the museums for race participants. Healthy snacks and refreshments to recharge your body will be provided.
