Description
This 5K walk/run is to raise money for Lilly, a nurse that is currently battling breast cancer. Lilly has dedicated her whole career to caring for others, now let's support her! Due to the death of her spouse 3 years ago, Lilly is a single working mom raising 5 girls. Her breast cancer diagnosis will require 3 surgeries, along with a lot of time off work. All the money raised towards this, will go directly to her. This 5K Run/Walk will be held at Barboursville City Park on Sunday, May 15th, 2022. For anyone not wanting to join in person, there will be an option to do the 5k virtually. We invite everyone to come ready to have fun and celebrate in your pink attire!
Are you a breast cancer survivor? Or currently battling breast cancer? Let us know when you pick up your race bib and we will be sure to add some race day bling!
Immediately following the race there will be awards!
Awards:
1st breast cancer fighter/survivor to cross the finish line!
1st over all male & female.
and 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the following age groups:
9 and under.
10-17
18-34
35-49
50-64
65 +
