Freedom Run 5K

We are pleased to announce the Freedom Run 5K will return this year!  Join us as we celebrate the 10th year for this race held in Chester, WV on July 4, 2023 at 9:00 am.  This event continues to grow each year and we anticipate another great turnout this July!

RUNNERS/WALKERS WELCOME

The race will start and finish at 817 Carolina Avenue in Chester, WV.

Register online and at the following locations:  Hancock County Savings Bank and Summit Physical Therapy in Chester 

Registration must be completed no later than June 20, 2023 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.  Registration will remain open at the designated locations and online through June 27.  You can also register the day of the race.  Additional t-shirts will be given on a first come, first serve basis. 

Race packets/t-shirts can be picked up at Hancock County Savings Bank on July 1st from 9:00am- 12:00pm to avoid waiting in line on race day! We strongly encourage early pick-up!

Awards will be given to the top 3 runners in each age group and top 3 walkers (males/females). 

Age groups are as follows:

• 12 and under
• 13-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60+
• Walker

Prize for most patriotic participant!

Participants should plan to arrive no later than 8:15 AM.
