FBI Jerry Dove Memorial 5K

The 2015 FBI Jerry Dove Memorial 5K, a somewhat challenging out and back paved course, starts and finishes on Jerry Dove Drive inside the East Security Gate on the FBI’s CJIS Division Complex. The racecourse runs along Jerry Dove Drive toward the main CJIS facility where runners will loop around a portion of the parking area and return to the start/finish area. Walkers will line up behind the runners and begin at the same time. Miles of Smiles Timing Services will provide chip timing.

A water stop will be set up at approximately miles 1 and 2 on the course. A warm-up/spectator area will be set up near the start/finish line. Due to the location of the race, no one will be permitted on the course prior to the start of the race, and only race participants will be allowed on the course after the race begins.

Walkers are welcome. No bicycles, strollers, or roller blades will be permitted. Cameras are allowed only at the start and finish line area. No cameras are allowed on the course at any time. Children must not be left unattended at any time.

Early packet pick-up for pre-registered participants is available on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 5:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. The packet pick-up location is at the Justice Federal Credit Union parking lot in White Oaks.

All packets must be picked up before 8:30 a.m. on race day. Packets will include the runner’s official race bib and disposable timing chip.

Anyone interested in registering after September 7th will do so the morning of the race. The registration fee will be $25. Registration will be held on race day from 7:00 a.m.-8:30 a.m. at the Visitors' Center

Commemorative cotton, long-sleeved T-shirts and patches are guaranteed only to participants whose registration forms are postmarked on or before September 7th, thereafter, T-shirts will be provided to participants only while supplies last. You will be provided with the size of race shirt indicated on your form if you are pre-registered.

Refreshments (water, juice, fruit, bagels, cookies) will be given out immediately following the race. The race will be held rain or shine. No refunds will be given.

Awards will be presented to the overall top three male and overall top three female finishers. Also, the first three male and first three female finishers in the age categories indicated below will receive medals:

12 & Under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

$10 Entry Fee. Pre-registration is highly encouraged. A Kids-K for children 10 & under (50 or 100 yard-dash depending on their age) will be run following the completion of the 5K (at approximately 10 a.m.). ALL children preregistered will receive a commemorative T-shirt and medal.
