Description
The Grafton 5 Mile run provides a challenging race course, as well as pre and post race fun for the whole family. Sponsored by the Grafton High School track teams, the 5 mile course begins and ends on the track at Grafton High school. The event will kick off with a half mile kids fun run, followed by the 5 Mile Run and 2 Mile Run/Walk. Post race refreshments will be available for runners and walkers after the event.
Race shirts are guaranteed to early registrants ONLY. Race shirts will be first come, first serve for quantity and sizes to those who register AFTER March 1st. Online registration will close on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers for the 5 Mile Run. Awards will also be presented to top finishers in each age category. Age categories are as follows: Under 18, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Race results will be posted online!!
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in the 2 Mile Run/Walk. Awards will also be presented to the top finishers in the following age categories: 10 & under, 17 & under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80&up.
START TIMES: A reminder that the Fun Run for Kids 12 & under will start at 1:30pm followed at 2:00pm by the start for both the 5 Mile Run and the 2 Mile Run.
PARKING on race day will be available in the student parking lot next to Sam Bord Drive. We will have signs and volunteers to direct you on race day. Please reserve all parking outside the Mary Battle Studio for handicap accessibility only. Post-race refreshments and awards ceremony will be held in the Grafton High School cafeteria.
