Bearhole Road Race

Experience one of southern West Virginia's long-standing running traditions at the Bearhole 5K/10K Road Race at Twin Falls Resort State Park!

Set among the beautiful mountains and forests of Wyoming County, the Bearhole Road Race gives runners and walkers the opportunity to take on either the 5K or 10K distance on the scenic roads of Twin Falls Resort State Park. Whether you're chasing a new personal best, taking on your first 5K, or simply looking for a great summer race in the mountains of West Virginia, the Bearhole offers something for everyone.

The race begins near the Twin Falls Golf Course Clubhouse and takes participants through the beautiful state park setting before returning for a memorable finish. With its rolling West Virginia terrain and peaceful wooded surroundings, don't expect your ordinary flat road race—the Bearhole is a true Appalachian running experience!
