3rd Annual Spencer Ugly Christmas Sweater 5K

It's that time of the year!  Oh what fun it is to run in the 3rd Annual Spencer Ugly Christmas Sweater 5K!

A big thank you to Michelle Painter of The Front Porch restaurant for hosting this year's event!  Wear your Christmas sweater - prize for the ugliest!  Get your picture with Santa!  Enjoy hot cocoa after!

For this race we will be collecting donations to benefit the Roane County Animal Shelter. (Equine pine pellets, kitten food soft and hard, adult cat food wet and dry, puppy chow, adult dog food wet and dry, cleaning supplies of all kinds including bleach, dish liquid, laundry detergent)

Sign-Ups: 2:00 PM
Kids Race: 3:00 PM
5K Race: 3:15 PM

Entry Fee: $10 + Animal Shelter Donation (dog food, cat food, cleaning supplies, etc.)

This is the 12th and final event of the 2021 PATCH and Jack Garrett Ford Race Series.  Walkers and Runners will start at Church Street in downtown Spencer and traverse to Washington Park, then loop back across town by Spencer Middle School to Front Street and Alvord, then past Heritage Park to the finish.  Young kids will have the option to do a shortened 0.1 mile loop around the courthouse, accompanied by an adult for safety.
