Tis the season to stay active!  Join us at The Hungry Moose for this year's Ugly Christmas Sweater 5K!  Wear your Christmas sweater to the race - prize for the ugliest!  Pre-register by noon on Wednesday, December 4th to guarantee shirt size.
 

Help the animals at the Roane County Animal Shelter this holiday season!  We are collecting donations of the following items:  equine pine pellets, kitten/cat food (dry and wet), puppy/dog food (dry and wet), bleach, dish soap, and laundry detergent.

Starting at The Hungry Moose travel past Heritage Park, then right across the bridge left on Front Street.  Take a right at Elm St. and continue straight, traveling up the hill on Prospect St.  Follow Prospect St. to the top of the hill then turn right on Hill St.  Continue down to the bottom of the hill, turning left behind Spencer Spirits.  Take a left on Main St. and pass Cash Saver.  Turn left after Cash Saver onto Pike St.  Follow Pike St. to the end then turn right to rejoin Main St.  Follow Main St. straight back into downtown Spencer.  After crossing Ruby Bradley Bridge turn right at the light and travel past the Post Office.  Turn left after the Post Office and continue straight towards the City Building.  At the stop sign in front of the City Building turn left towards the finish line at The Hungry Moose.
