This means that you can ski your 5K or 10K distance, in skate or classic technique, ANYWHERE you want to! If you track yourself using a GPS or smartphone app, or even just a wristwatch, you will then be able to upload your time and be eligible for some great door prizes. Because we can't standardize race times for different locations, we won't have place awards. However, every entrant will receive a thank you gift.
NEW! For those who don't always have the Need for Speed, we have added a Total Distance Challenge: ski or snowshoe the most cumulative miles between February 1-28 for a special award! You can upload your mileage here on RunSignUp results.
We know it won't quite be the same as racing head-to-head, but we hope it will still be a fun way to get out on the trails and raise some funds for Powder Pass Nordic Club. This is a learning experience for all of us, so if you have any questions, please contact us.
