Do I get a medal?

Yes, all participants will receive a custom finisher’s medal.
Is lodging mandatory?

No, lodging is not mandatory. Cabins and primitive campsites are available as upgrades to your registration.
Are there age group awards?

No, awards will be given out to the top 3 males and females in the 12 & 24-hour races.
Are there age restrictions?

Yes, the minimum age to participate is 16 years old.
Can we have a drop-bag?

Yes, you can place a drop bag at the designated tent near the start/finish line.
Are headlamps required?

Yes, headlamps are required after 5:30 PM until sunrise.
Will there be a 5K?

TBD. Parking is limited.
Do I have to share a cabin?

Yes, cabins are shared with other runners.
Can we request a cabin with a friend?

Yes, as long as the cabin has open beds the option will appear in the drop-down menu.
Is food included?

Yes, the pre-race pasta dinner and aid station food are complimentary. Meal tickets are available for purchase if you would like access to the dining hall menu.
Are race refunds offered?

Refunds are not available for this event. Third-party insurance is offered during registration.
Are bib transfers allowed?

Yes, email events@sommersports.com with your request.
Can my family stay with me in the cabin?

Cabins are available to participants only. Family members may join you at your primitive campsite.
Do I have to run the whole time?
-
No, you can run or rest as much as you would like! Tents and chairs will be available near the start finish if you want to take a break without returning to your cabin.
What activities are planned other than the race?

Outdoor movies, campfires with smores, board games at the recreation center, and live music!
