Event Day Participant Details
Welcome! Bienvenido! Witamy! Huānyíng! Mabuhay! Karibu! 'Ahlan bik! Akeyi!
Can you believe #WTT40 is here?!?
We had a great turnout on the red carpet entrance at packet pick-up hosted by Out Run Your Fork. Jen Hinger Photography was there capturing all of the fun moments, with so many more to come today. We're off to a great start on our cleaning supply drive. Please bring an item or two to donate to the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless. List of needed items here.
Check-In and Registration opens at Tamaques Park (entrance off Lamberts Mill Rd., Westfield) starting at 9 a.m.
We are accepting NEW Sign-Ups.
5 Miler - $40, 5280 Run - $25, PracticeHard Mile - $18
IMPORTANT NOTE: We are giving unclaimed bib #s a 2nd chance! To further our zero waste initiatives, we are doling out bib #s assigned at other events, but never picked-up and used. So don't worry if your name is Kiyana, but your bib says Scott. You'll be you in the results!
Here's the event day schedule:
10:15 a.m. - 5280 Run (competitive 1 Mile, ages 15+)
10:20 a.m. Guided warm-up by Out Run Your Fork
10:40 a.m. - PracticeHard Mile (1M, all ages, all paces)
10:50 a.m. - Guided warm-up by Gamechanger Gym
11:15 a.m. - 5 Mile Turkey Trot
11:20 a.m. - 5280 & 1M Awards Ceremony
12:30 a.m. - 5M Awards Ceremony
Parking is limited in Tamaques Park and will close at 10 a.m. or sooner if all spots are full. There is parking on surrounding residential streets, but please be respectful of homes and driveways. The event site is about 1/2 way around the 1-way loop in Tamaques Park...you'll see the tents!
Arrival Time - We recommend that you arrive early as lines build up at check-in and registration close to race times! We open at 9 a.m. We want you to have enough time for check-in, returning items to your vehicle, hydrating, warming-up, using the restroom, etc.
Water, Sustainability, & Recycling:
Always remember to hydrate! We encourage you to bring a hydration pack or favorite water bottle to alleviate any congestion near the water station(s) and to reduce our environmental impact. We will have igloo water containers available for you to refill your bottle. Alternatively, we will have disposable water available for you.
We also ask you to mind the recycling, trash, and composting signs at the bins and help us reduce our environmental impact.
We are now accepting your Tyvek bib numbers for recycling! If you don't want to keep your bib, drop it off near Results. We'll also take any old bibs you may want to recycle.
We are excited to have the support of Westfield's own Green Team to further our Envirostrides. Say hello to a friendly neighborhood volunteer!
