VIRTUAL CHALLENGE FAQS

 
WHAT IS THE STEP INTO PRIME CHALLENGE?

SMF1 will be having a Prime Week Walkathon. We will be distributing pedometers to all managers who wish to participate. Starting Sunday, June 20th at 12:00 am and ending Sunday, June 27th at 12:00 am, managers have one week to get in as many steps as possible. This can include all activities inside and outside of work! Managers will have the opportunity to join any affinity group as their team. We will have one individual winner each day and one winning team at the end of the week. 

WHEN IS THE CHALLENGE?

The challenge starts on Sunday June 20th , 2021 and ends on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

IS THERE A SPECIFIC APP I NEED TO USE TO TRACK MY ACTIVITY?

You may track your distance with any app, watch, or fitness device that you would like. You just need to be able to track the distance that you completed.

CAN I COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE WITHOUT MY BIB? 

The bib is not required to be worn during the run or bike.

RULES 
  • You can sign up as an individual participant or you can join an affinity group team!
  • Each day (Sunday 12-12, Monday 12-12, etc.) we will have an individual winner with the most steps taken that wins an Amazon SWAG hat and $20 Safeway Fuel Card.
  • At the end of the week, the affinity group with the most steps taken will win Amazon SWAG items including umbrellas, chargers, and portable speakers.
  • Steps can be tracked on personal watches and phones or through pedometers provided by SMF1.
  • Please stop by Caroline Scott's cube in the main office before Prime Week begins to grab a pedometer if needed.
  • Steps can be earned both inside and outside of work!

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MY BIB?

Click here to visit your Profile. From there, you will see "View Digital Bib" on the right panel of your registration for this event. You must be logged into your RSU account to access this. You do not need to wear a bib during this Challenge.

HOW DO I RESEND MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL?

RunSignUp allows you to access your registration through your Profile. From there you can resend your confirmation email if you have misplaced it, or if you have not received it. 

Note: If you did not receive your confirmation make sure to check your Spam/Clutter folders.

You will always be able to resend the registration confirmation for any registrations associated with your Profile (including any sub-accounts of yours) by following these steps:

  1. Sign In to RunSignUp
  2. Go to your Profile
  3. See your events under Upcoming Events
  4. Click Resend Confirmation next to the registration that you would like to resend the confirmation email.
  5. Check the email listed in your Profile for your registration confirmation

Click Resend Confirmation next to the registration that you would like to resend the registration confirmation.

At that point, the confirmation email will be sent to the email address associated with that registration. If the original confirmation message did not send because you had a typo in an email address, you will need to update this information as explained in How to Correct Typo/Modify Profile.

HOW DO I RESET MY RSU PASSWORD? 

If you ever happen to forget your password, simply open up the “Login” , and click Forgot Password? At this point, you can enter in the email address you use to access your RunSignup account, and click on the button labeled Send Reset Password Link

After clicking the “Reset Password” button, you will receive an email with a unique link allowing you to reset the password for your RunSignUp account.

MY SPOUSE/CHILD/FAMILY/FRIEND REGISTERED ME. HOW DO I MOVE THAT TO MY ACCOUNT?

I AM LISTED AS ANONYMOUS IN THE RESULTS , WHY?

When you create an account, you have an option to be listed as anonymous in results.  If you do not want this, go into your profile and click to edit profile.  You will see a check box at the bottom that you want to UNCHECK to be listed again.

MILE SUBMISSION FAQS

 
HOW DO I SUBMIT MY ACTIVITY?

Click here to visit your profile. From there, you will see "Submit Virtual Results" and other options on the right panel of your registration for this event. You must be logged into your RSU account to access this. Activity must be logged within the challenge time frame of June 20 – June 26, 2021. You can also visit the Log Your Activity section. You can track your distance with a number of different phone apps (Strava, Zwift ,Garmin Connect, etc.), your watch, or your favorite fitness device. CAN I USE A TREADMILL? 

Yes, you may! Treadmills if it provides distance miles are miles !! 

HOW FAR DO I HAVE TO RUN/WALK ?

As far as you like. We decided to leave this open-ended, so your distance is as far as you want to go. Distance will be tracked every time you submit an activity.

DO MY MILES COUNT FROM BEFORE THE START DATE OF MY CHALLENGE?

No, only activity you do from June 20, 2021 to June 26, 2021 count.

CAN I STILL ENTER MILES IF I MISSED A DAY OR I SIGNED UP AFTER THE CHALLENGE START DATE? 

Yes, you can always go back to a prior day and enter your distance. We allow you to retroactively add distance covered. 

DO I NEED TO SUBMIT PROOF OF MY ACTIVITY?

This virtual challenge is based on the honor system. However, we would love to see you share your accomplishments via Photo submission
