Turkey Trot Course — Turn-by-Turn Directions

Cape Fear Habitat Turkey Trot 5K — Updated Turn-by-Turn Directions

The 5K will start and finish inside Live Oak Bank Pavilion.

Participants will:

1. Exit Live Oak Bank Pavilion and head southbound on Nutt Street.

2. • Nutt Street will operate as two-way race traffic between Live Oak Bank Pavilion and Red Cross Street.

   • Outbound runners will use the southbound lane.

3. Continue southbound on Nutt Street, which becomes North Water Street.

4. Continue southbound on North Water Street.

5. Turn left onto Princess Street, heading eastbound.

6. Turn right onto South Front Street, heading southbound.

7. Turn right onto Market Street, heading westbound.

8. Turn left onto South Water Street, heading southbound.

9. Turn left onto Ann Street, heading eastbound.

10. Turn right onto South Front Street, heading southbound.

11. • Between Ann Street and Castle Street, South Front Street will operate as a two-way race section.

    • Southbound runners will use the southbound side of South Front Street.

    • Northbound runners will use the northbound side of South Front Street.

12. Continue southbound on South Front Street to Church Street.

13. Turn right onto Church Street, heading westbound.

14. Turn left onto Surry Street, heading southbound.

15. Turn left onto Castle Street, heading eastbound.

16. Turn left onto South Front Street, heading northbound in the northbound lane.

17. Continue northbound on South Front Street in the northbound lane until reaching Princess Street.

18. At Princess Street, runners will shift into the southbound lane of Front Street, while continuing northbound.

19. Continue northbound on North Front Street in the southbound lane.

20. Turn left onto Red Cross Street, heading westbound.

21. Turn right onto Nutt Street, entering the two-way race traffic portion of Nutt Street.

22. Continue straight on Nutt Street back toward Live Oak Bank Pavilion.

23. Re-enter Live Oak Bank Pavilion and finish.

Turkey Trot One-Mile Course — Turn-by-Turn Directions

The one-mile course will start inside Live Oak Bank Pavilion and use a separate finish line from the 5K.

Participants will:

1. Exit Live Oak Bank Pavilion and head southbound on Nutt Street.

2. • Nutt Street will operate as two-way race traffic between Live Oak Bank Pavilion and the turnaround area.

   • Outbound runners will use the southbound lane.

3. Continue southbound on Nutt Street, which becomes North Water Street.

4. Continue to the turnaround located in front of the Cape Fear Community College Burnett Building.

5. Turn around in front of the Cape Fear Community College Burnett Building.

6. Return northbound on North Water Street, which becomes Nutt Street.

7. Continue northbound on Nutt Street.

8. Turn right onto Harnett Street, heading eastbound.

9. Turn left onto Nutt Street at the Boneyard area.

10. Finish at the one-mile finish line at Live Oak Bank Pavilion.

Note: The one-mile course has a separate finish line from the 5K.
