Wherever You Are, ?? 00000
Want to run for the (un)adopted but cannot make it to our events in Birmingham, AL, Mount Pleasant, SC, Topeka, KS, or Belmont, NC? You can still be a part by registering to "Run Where You Are". We encourage you to get a group of friends together, register for the event, map out your own 5K route and then join with hundreds of others across the world to run for the (un)adopted wherever you are!
We will send you a t-shirt and encourage you and your friends to post a picture of you running with #runforone to show your support for the (un)adopted.
The proceeds from the R(un) for One go to benefit Lifeline Children's Services (un)adopted Ministry.
Who are the (un)adopted?
Throughout the world there are more than 153 million orphans.
The harsh reality is that many of these children are labeled “unadoptable” due to age, special need(s) or life circumstance(s). They often face a future with little hope, and are vulnerable to sexual exploitation, drug abuse and slavery. By no fault of their own, many are unprepared for adulthood and have no knowledge of a Heavenly Father who loves them.
Why does (un)adopted exist?
(un)adopted exists to make a difference.
As a ministry of Lifeline Children’s Services, we are uniquely positioned to initiate effective change. The call to rescue the orphan in distress cannot be fulfilled through adoption alone. (un)adopted was created to reach orphaned and vulnerable children with the hope of the Gospel and the life skills needed to bring about community transformation.
How we are helping orphans:
Our projects include life and job skill training, education opportunities, foster care and caregiver training. The Gospel is the heart of what we do and is the foundation of the ministry of (un)adopted. Learn more at unadopted.org
