Bike Route

Athletes will exit the transition area turning west onto the trail and crossing W 5th street hop onto the Kewash Nature Trail. From there the athletes will continue straight onto the trail until mile 6.5 where they will turn around before they cross into West Chester. Athletes will re-enter the transition area the same way they exited.

Athletes will cross highway 92 about 1.5 & 11.4 miles into the ride, volunteers will be stationed there and may indicate you to stop for a few seconds to wait for traffic. Volunteers will also be located at the turnaround. Please watch for traffic at the Kiwi, Juniper, 250th St and Ivy Ave crossings along the trail; there will be minimal traffic but athletes should stay on alert.

Helmets are to be worn at all times during the bike portion of the race. Please ride on the right of the trail and indicate when passing another biker on the left.

Run Route

Athletes will exit the transition area to turning east in front of the Y and then heading down N D avenue for a block to hop onto the Kewash Nature Trail. Athletes will continue on the trail for a little over a quarter of a mile before turning south on the trail to head towards Sunset Park. Entering Sunset Park athletes will run around to the park entrance on W Washington street where they will turn north on S F avenue, west onto W Main street and then loop back down into the park where they will run back the same way they came towards the finish at the Y.

Volunteers will be located throughout the course and a water station will also be provided along the course. Please be aware that the run course will be open to light traffic so athletes will need to keep to the left side of the street.
