Inspired by the historic premiere of the Yellow Brick Road in 1939, this scenic run will start and finish at City Hall, overlooking the brand-new Oz Plaza.
Join us as we celebrate the 86th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz! With exciting events planned throughout Oconomowoc, this is your chance to be part of the magic.

All 5K runners and 2-mile walkers who register by noon on Friday, May 23rd will receive a custom cotton Yellow Brick Road shirt. After that, shirts will be available only while the online supply lasts—so don’t wait! 🎽

The Kids' Fun Run is free when a parent is registered for the 5K or 2-mile walk. We can’t wait to cheer on your little runners—see you there! 🏅👟

You do not need to print it. We will need to scan the QR code on the receipt, though, so please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code to your device’s image library.

Course Closure
As much as we’d love to spend endless time at our favorite race sites, our permits limit the time we can occupy the course. To comply with these restrictions, the course will close at 9:00 AM, and participants will be moved to the sidewalk.
Teams of 4+ will have their packets pre-assembeled. The packets must be picked up by a team member.
If you are picking up for more than a couple people, please do the following:
1. Put all of their QR codes on one sheet of paper OR
2. Write all of their names on one sheet of paper (last name, first name, t-shirt).
That will make your life a whole lot easier when you go to hand out the info to your team.
Parking is available in the municipal lot located behind City Hall. Downtown Oconomowoc parking map.
Teams
Want to run with your friends, co-workers, or even your in-laws? No problem! 🏃♀️🏃♂️ Putting together a team is easy and free.
Here’s how:
1️⃣ Find 3 or more people to join you.
2️⃣ Pick a team name.
3️⃣ Register your team.
Teams with 4 or more members will be eligible for the Team Award, which goes to the fastest 4 runners on the team. Let the friendly competition begin! 🎉
