Description
The Surrender Hill Marathon is one of the most scenic races in South Africa. Running through the Eastern Free State with the Maluti Mountains as background, sets the perfect venue for a qualifying event for the Comrades Marathon.
The race starts and finishes in the stunning small town of Clarens. From there the route takes you up Surrender Hill and back down again. This event is tough, spectacular and the most scenic route after the Comrades and the Two Oceans. The potential of this race is endless and we have amazing plans for the next few years.
Accommodation is also not a problem as there are a lot of B&Bs in and around Clarens.
