Can I sign up on race day?
Yes, race day sign up will be from 6:30 AM – 7:45 AM
What time will the half-marathon and 5K start?
The half-marathon starts at 8:00 AM and the 5K starts at 8:20 AM.
May I upgrade or downgrade from the distance I registered for?
Yes. If you would like to upgrade from the 5K event to the half-marathon or downgrade from the half-marathon to the 5K, please contact our Registration Coordinator at Jason@TuxBro.com.
If you downgrade from the half-marathon to the 5K, you will NOT be refunded the price difference for the events. If you are upgrading from the 5K to the half-marathon, you will need to pay the upgrade difference.
May I get a refund for my entry?
Unfortunately no, all registrations are final and non-refundable.
May I transfer my registration to another person?
You may transfer your entry to next year or to another participant. A transfer fee will be due upon time of the new registration. ($10 through Nov. 16, and $15 during raceweek). If you would like to transfer your entry, e-mail Jason Springer at Jason@TuxBro.com
Can someone else pick up my packet?
Yes, a friend or family member can pickup your packet for you if you give them permission. We do NOT require any proof of permission.
Will there be a gear check?
No, there is no official gear check.
Are there pace requirements for the event?
A 16 minute per mile pace is required for both the half-marathon and the 5K. If you are unable to maintain the 16 minute per mile pace, you will be asked to move to the sidewalk and continue at your own risk, or board the SAG Wagon to be taken back to the finish line area.
Where can I park on race day?
Parking on raceday is available in the large lot on the south side of Lions Club Park. The main entrance to this lot is off of Sycamore Street & Elm Street.
Please be aware, this lot will fill up quickly! Overflow parking is available on the downtown streets.
Can I bring my dog?
No, we do not allow participants to bring dogs.
Are strollers allowed?
Strollers are NOT allowed for the half-marathon, but they ARE allowed for the 5k. If you have a stroller, please start towards the back of the 5k pack, to avoid contact with other runners. THIS IS FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY!
In addition, bicycles or skates are NOT permitted for either event.
Is there a minimum age requirement for the half-marathon?
You must be at least 10 years old by November 22 to participate in the half-marathon event.

Will there be Age-group awards?
Age-group awards will be given in the following increments to the Top 3 per age-group in the half-marathon and also the 5k:
12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Do all finishers receive a medal?
Yes, all finishers in both the half-marathon and 5K will receive a finisher medal.
Will there be an award ceremony?
There will NOT be a formal awards ceremony. Awards will be given out inside the Lions Club Building.
