5K Event Day Info
PARKING
All guests should park in the Zoo's main parking lot.
REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK UP
If you did not pick up your packet or register in advance, you may do so on race day in the parking lot noted as Main Zoo Parking Lot on the map.
START
The 5K will start in front of the Zoo at 5:30 p.m. We ask that those with strollers and those slower runners/walkers start towards the back of the pack.
AWARDS & TIMES
Times will be available on screens near the finish line. Awards for the top five athletes will be available Lakeside, inside the Zoo, during ZooLights.
ZOOPENDOUS RAFFLE
Each registrant will be entered into the raffle electronically upon registering. Athletes have the option to purchase additional raffle tickets online, by visiting here: https://tickets.phoenixzoo.org/WebStore/shop/ViewItems.aspx?CG=ZMGS1&C=ZMGS2. One winner will be chosen at random and contacted Monday, January 22, 2024, by email and/or phone. Prize must be claimed by picking up at the Phoenix Zoo, cannot be shipped. Raffle participants do not need to purchase a ticket to attend Zoo Move & Groove event or be present to win. All proceeds benefit the non-profit Phoenix Zoo. Raffle ticket sales are not tax deductible.
ZOOLIGHTS
Each registrant receives one entrance into ZooLights on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 6 to 9 p.m. Your race bib will serve as your ticket into ZooLights. Spectator tickets may be purchased in advanced here: https://tickets.phoenixzoo.org/WebStore/shop/ViewItems.aspx?CG=ZMGS1&C=ZMGS2 or at any ticket window on race day only.
KETTLE CORN & COCOA
Each registrant receives kettle corn & cocoa. Please redeem the tags on your race bib at any one of the following locations, Cruiser Station or Lakeside, during ZooLights. Both tags do not have to be redeemed at the same time; however, the tags are only good for event night.
