What are the dates and locations for Race Bib and Shirt Pickup?

Avoid the long lines on race day and pick up your bib and shirt at one of our three pre-race dates:

 

Wednesday, December 3rd, 1-4pm

Thursday, December 4th, 4-7pm

Friday, December 5th, 5-8pm

Shennandoah Park, 100 Sonoma Creek Way, American Canyon

 

Please bring an ID with you to pick up your bib and shirt.

If you would like a friend to pick up your bib and shirt for you, have them show a copy of your Drivers License.   

Race Day bib and shirt pickup, as well as race day registration, will be available December 6th, starting at 7:30am.

* Race shirt availability not guaranteed after start of race.

 

Can I exchange my shirt if I don't like the size? 

We will only offer shirt exchanges (based on availability) after the races have started on race day. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

Can I order extra shirts or swag? 

Additional shirts and Reindeer Run swag can be purchased on our website under the store tab. We will also have merchandise for sale on race day.

 

What does the registration for kids 12 and under include? 

Kids 12 and under receive souvenir antlers and a finisher’s medal. It does not include a race shirt.

 

Can I purchase a race shirt for my 12 and under child?

Youth size race shirts are available as an add on purchase during registration 

 

Where should I park for the event?

Parking will be available at the Napa Junction School:  500 Eucalyptus Drive.

Entrance into the school parking lot will only be from Eucalyptus Drive.

Exit from the school parking lot will only be from Commerce Road.

Street parking will also be available on the east side of Wetlands Edge, Eucalyptus Drive, and the surrounding neighborhood. Please be considerate of our neighbors when parking on city streets. 

*Parking close to the event can fill up quickly - allow exra time to park and walk to the Wetlands Trailhead.

 

What time does race day registration/bib and shirt pickup begin? 

You can register for the race and pick up your bib/race shirt starting at 7:30am.

 

What are the race start times? 

9:00 am: 10k race begin 

9:05 am: 5k race begins for runners

9:10 am: 5k race begins for walkers

 

What ammenities will be available?

From 8-9am, visit Santa, take photos with our Reindeer Run backdrop, our mini "reindeers", and enjoy pre-race coffee and hot chocolate!

At 8:45 am there will be a warm up where we run through the North Pole! 

At 8:55 we will play the National Anthem

Coffee and hot chocolate will be available pre and post-race, and snacks will be available post-race.

Port-a-Potties will also be available at the Start/Finish area.

 

Is bag check available?

There is no bag check, but there will be a table where participants can leave a bag at their own risk.

 

Do people dress up in festive attire? 

We highly encourage Reindeer and/or holiday themed attire!  

Carry a cell phone or camera to take pictures with Santa, pose against our festive backdrop, and capture the beautiful views along the route!

 

Will the race be canceled if it's raining?

The race will take place rain or shine; please bring layers in case of inclement weather.

 

Can I bring my dog to the event?

Yes - dogs will line up at the back of each start to prevent possible tripping hazards. Dogs must be on a leash and under owner control at all times.

 

Can I push a stroller in the event? 

Yes - strollers will line up at the back of each start to prevent possible tripping hazards.

Use caution when using headphones, pushing strollers or running/walking with pets.

 

What is the course type?

The couse is flat, with the first 1/3 paved and the remainder compacted dirt

 

Is there water and a bathroom stop on the course? 

One water stop and Port-a-Potty will be available at the 5k/10k split.

 

Are there mile markers on the course?

All routes on the Wetlands Trail course will have mile markers.

 

What do race finishers recieve?   

Upon completing the race, all participants receive a finisher medal that doubles as a holiday ornament!

 

When does the race end?

The race officially concludes at 11am

 

Are there awards/prizes? 

Awards and prizes for the top three male and female finishers in the 5k and 10k races

will be announced at 10am. 

Age group winners are the top 3 Male and Female in the 5k and 10k and will receive a special medal that they can pick up at the medalist table.

Riley's Food Truck will be at the race selling delicious breakfast food and drinks, including their famous breakfast burritos!
