Registration includes a long sleeve performance race shirt and a finisher’s medal. Shirt type and size is chosen during registration.

All you need is a valid ID!
Yes! If someone is picking up for you, they must show a copy of your valid ID.
Shirt exchanges (subject to availability) are allowed for unworn shirts after races begin on race day only.
Yes! Additional shirts and Reindeer Run merchandise are available in our online store; Reindeer Run merchandise is available for purchase at our pickup locations and on race day.
Yes! Youth-size race shirts can be added during registration as a paid add-on.
Race Day Logistics and Timing
Primary Parking: Napa Junction School, 500 Eucalyptus Drive
Parking opens at 7am
Enter from Eucalyptus Dr
Exit only from Commerce Rd
Additional street parking on Wetlands Edge (east side), Eucalyptus Dr, and surrounding neighborhoods.
Carpool when possible and arrive early — close parking fills quickly! Be respectful of neighbors.
Race day registration and bib/shirt pickup starts at 7:30am at the Wetlands Trailhead.
10k starts at 9:00am
5k runners start at 9:05am
5k walkers start at 9:10am
The race officially concludes at 11:00am
7:30 am: Check in and race day registration opens.
8:00 to 9:00 am: Take photos with Santa, photo backdrop, face painting and tattoos, coffee, and hot chocolate
8:45 am: Warm up with Dynamic Danielle
8:50 am: 10K moves into the chute
8:55 am: National Anthem
9:00 am: 10K starts
9:05 am: 5K runners start
9:10 am: 5K walkers start
10:00 am: Awards for top three male and female finishers
11:00 am: Race concludes
No; the race will be held rain or shine. Dress in layers and be prepared.
Race Course and Amenities
No. Dogs are no longer allowed at the event or on the race course.
You can visit Santa, take photos against our festive backdrop, and visit our "mini reindeers”!
Enjoy coffee and hot chocolate pre-race, snacks and beverages available post-race!
Port-a-Potties are avaialble at Start/Finish and one on course
A Hydration Station is located at Start/Finish area and water stations are on the course
Yes! Riley’s Food Truck will be on-site selling breakfast food and drinks, including their famous breakfast burritos, and Very Brave Coffee will sell hot chocolate, lattes and Filipino inspired coffees.
Yes, and we encourage it! Wear reindeer or holiday-themed outfits and bring your phone/camera for great photos!
Yes! Strollers should line up at the back of each race group.
There is no bag check, but a self-serve table is available (leave items at your own risk)
The City of American Canyon provides a Hydration Station at Start/Finish area; fill up your own bottle or use the provided cups.
Port-a-Potties and two bathrooms are available at the start/finish area.
This is a flat course through our scenic wetlands. The first 1/3 is paved, the remainder on compacted dirt.
Yes! One water stop and Port-a-Potty are located soon after the 5k/10k split, heading to the finish line. Another waterstop is between mile 3 and 4 on the 10k course.
Yes! All routes will have mile markers clearly posted.
Awards and Medals
All participants receive a finisher medal that doubles as a holiday ornament!
Yes! Prizes and winner medals will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in both the 5k and 10k.
Awards will be announced at 10:00am
Yes! The top 3 male and female in the following age groups receive a special medal (pick up at the medalist table):
