Official Training Plans
Set yourself up for success on race day by following a training plan. You know that you can do it, but maybe you don't know how. No worries, Our race director as created official training plans you can follow for any of the distances on marathon weekend.
We will also have training group runs in Bowling Green. Kick-off is Saturday, July 11 @ 6:30am at the BG Ball Park.
We have an official training group called The Street Sharks. we meet at the start/finish line on Saturdays for long runs on the race course. If you attend at least 10 Saturday group runs you will earn special status and swag for race day.
Those that wish to participate in training with the group must sign the waiver. You can use the link below to download, print and sign the waiver to bring to the group run

Zero to 6K Beginner Training
In collaboration with Bowling Green Running Club, The Street Sharks will be hosting a free training program with beginner runners in mind. The group will follow the official training plan for the bg6000, starting with running/walking intervals gradually building up to running the bg6000 6km race in November.
The training group will meet at BGRC and Street Sharks weekly runs to prepare for the race including our Tuesday Fleet Feet Runs, Street Sharks Wednesday Workouts, Thursday Evening Group runs and Saturday long runs.
