Riders can register online until 11:59pm MST on 7/25/26 or in person on 7/26/26 (ride day) at the ride start in Crested Butte. If you register on ride day please arrive early.
What is included in your registration?
Your $56 Ride Day registration gets you everything you need for a fun, supported day on the bike. You’ll start the ride with coffee and donuts, have access to aid stations and SAG (support and gear) assistance along the route. At the finish line, enjoy pizza and refreshments to celebrate your ride and pick up some fun Bird to Bird swag.
Your registration also supports a great cause. After covering event expenses, all remaining funds go directly to Gunnison Trails and CBMBA. In addition, 100% of all funds raised through fundraising efforts are donated to these organizations to help maintain and improve our local trail systems.

Yes. Ride-day registration will be available the morning of the event. We strongly recommend registering in advance on our website to ensure a faster, smoother check-in. Please plan to arrive by 9:00 AM so the event can start on time.
We encourage riders to bike, carpool, or take the RTA transit. If you do drive a vehicle we recommend parking at the 4-way stop in Crested Butte.
The ride is 37 miles with approximately 1,193 foot elevation gain and 2,368 foot decent.
No there is not a time limit to complete the ride. Although pizza and refreshments will be served at the finish line at the Bluebird Gunnison Office at 12pm.
We will have water refill stations at the start and end of the ride with an additional water and refreshment station at Swampy Pass. We recommend riders to have 1.5-2.5 liters of water for this gravel ride.
There are bathrooms in the Bluebird Office at the start and finish line. There is also an outhouse at Swampy Pass where we will have a tent and water refill station.
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on this gravel ride.
No. There will be no gear check or storage available. Please pack light and plan to carry all personal items with you during the ride.
Yes! Any type of bike is allowed.

Yes we will have a vehicle running sag support with tools, pump, spare tires and tubes. We will also have bike tools and supplies at our rest stop at Swampy Pass.
