The Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club  Founded 1982

The Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club is a service organization whose mission is community enrichment through the support and development of programs which focus upon the Prevention of Child Abuse, Youth Development and Education, Americanism, and Community Outreach.
The Exchange Club of Kiawah- Seabrook was formed in 1982 by  residents of the two islands with the primary goal of supporting the Prevention of Child Abuse in the Lowcountry. In the past year the Club has again contributed over $ 100,000. to the following organizations: 
In support of Education - Grants have been given to Angle Oak School, Capers Prep School, Frierson Elementary School, Haut Gap School, Mt. Zion School & the Johns Island Library. In addition the Club has awarded scholarships for Youth of the Month and Youth of the Year to deserving students form these schools.
In support of Health and Welfare - Organizations receiving support include Barrier Island Medical, Hospice of Charleston, Respite Care Ministries, Sea Island Habitat for Humanity, Palmetto Place, OLM Dental and Darkness to Light among others.
Members of the club consist of over 100 men and women that live on Kiawah, Seabrook and Johns Island who are actively involved in the Sea Island communities. All funds raised by the Club go to the support of community projects outlined above. 
Support for the Club’s activities is support for the community and also enhances the health and welfare of all involved.
