A: Yes! The 🏃race will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
Q: What time does the race start?
A: The Brea 8K begins at 7:00 AM. Arrive early for parking and warm-up. The Fun Run starts at 9:00 AM inside the Brea Mall parking lot near the Finish Line.
Q: What time does the Awards Ceremony start?
A: The Awards Ceremony starts at 8:00 AM inside the Corporate Sponsors area near the Finish Line.
REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Q: How do I register?
A: Register online at [brea8k.com]. Limited same-day registration may be available.
Q: Where do I pick up my packet?
A: Packet pick up is available on day of race day inside the JC Penney parking lot near the Start Line starting at 5:30 AM. Early Packet Pick Up is available on Saturday 2/21/26 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Snail's Pace Running Shop in Brea.
Q: Can someone else pick up my packet?
A: Yes. Bring a copy of their ID (photo on phone works). For minors, bring the parent or guardian’s ID.
Q: What’s included in my packet?
A: Race bib, timing chip, event T-shirt, and sponsor goodies.

A: Yes! Please be mindful of others.

A: No, due to insurance restrictions.
