G-PACT
What is G-PACT?
G-PACT, Gastroparesis Patient Association for Cures and Treatments, Inc. was established on August 23, 2001. G-PACT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which provides services to patients who suffer from digestive tract paralysis including Gastroparesis, Chronic Intestinal Pseudo-obstruction, and Colonic Inertia. We reach out to over 35 countries and all 50 states. We focus on a variety of options and provide services and information completely free of charge. We are staffed completely by volunteers, so 100% of donations go to support our activities.
What is G-PACT’s mission?
G-PACT is dedicated to increasing awareness of Gastroparesis (GP), Chronic Intestinal Pseudo-obstruction (CIP), and Colonic Inertia (CI) among medical professionals, patients, and the general population. We are working towards finding a cure and/or better treatment options for people dealing with digestive tract paralysis (DTP). We provide educational resources, multiple support programs, patient advocacy programs, and other aid as needed to help patients cope and to provide hope to everyone afflicted with the condition.
Who makes up G-PACT?
G-PACT is dedicated to providing a network of resources for GP, CIP and CI patients, medical professionals, and the general population. Our staff is fully voluntary and no one is paid for their services. Most of our volunteers suffer from some form of digestive tract paralysis. Others are parents of patients or have a friend or loved one who suffers from DTP. One thing all our volunteers have in common is a passion to help others and a desire to increase awareness!
