All Race Info
Here is the last minute info. Race day is tomorrow!We are so excited for this year!
If you have not picked up your race packet and tshirt or need to register we have packet pickup from 8-9am at S Shurtz Canyon Drive at the Southview Trail where the race is located! Dont forget to come by! There will be a table set up near the ST George Running Center Arch.
Address: S Shurtz Canyon Dr, Southview Trailhead. Park along the street or if there is no parking the Holiday INN Express is about 1/4 mile walk to start. Look for the big St George Running Center Arch.
Schedule
Races start at 9am.
9am-10k start
9:10- all kids races start
9:30 5k start
9:45- 1 mile start
10:30- raffle stick around, lots of cool prizes, we also have gift cards from the St George Running center going to the top runners from the 5k.
Races distances are 10k, 5k, 1 mile, and a Kids Race. All abilities, adults, kids, walkers, and runners welcome! There will be a raffle on October 8th at the in person race. Participants of the in person race will be entered into a raffle to win prizes such as shoes, running gear, gift cards, etc...
We will also have a virtual event option for the same weekend Oct 12-14th for family and friends that wish to participate but can’t attend.
10k - 2 loops! 1 mile on the bike path and then enter dirt trails 1st loop: Lichen it, turn on junior giant, aid station at bottom before entering loop 2: lichen it, Turn on Jolly Gian then down to the finish/start line at the parking lot. Total 6.2 miles. 5 miles of this race are on flowing, single-track trails. Approx 639 ft elevation gain.
5k- runs on the bike path, Lichen it, and Junior Giant dirt trails. A great course with flowing dirt trails.
1 mile- An out and back on the bike path going up a hill and then back down for a fast finish. Stroller friendly
Kids Races- 0-6years- 400m total out and back on bike path, 7-10 years- 800m total out and back on bike path.
For those that can't attend, you can donate money by clicking the donate icon, Venmo @erikgraychallenge, or write a check.
For businesses we also have an account on Benevity which gives you the tax forms for our 501C charity when you make a contribution. Money is collected by the 16th and disbursed on the last day of the month. (i.e. donate on sept 20, we receive it October 31st. Donate Sept. 14, we receive it September 30th)
