FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When/Where is Packet Pickup?

Packet Pickup will be on Friday, Dec. 30 at TBD and beginning at 9 a.m. Dec. 31 – which is race morning – at the New Albany Amphitheater, 201 E. Water St. 

Where can I park?

Parking will be available at the YMCA public parking lots as well as street parking in downtown New Albany. Handicap accessible parking is available on Water Street via Sixth Street. 

Can I register for the event on the day of?

Yes, but you will not be guaranteed swag items. Pre-registation is preferred.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, but please be sure to keep your pooch on a leash and bring bags to clean up after him/her.

Can I push my child in a stroller during the event?

Absolutely. 

Will the roads be closed for the event?

Yes; we will start closing Water Road and intersecting roads near the race route at 8 a.m. the morning of the event.

Are awards given out? 

Yes, awards will be given out. overall male/female Top 3 finishers. Age groups 1st, 2nd, and 3rd: 14 & under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 & 60+

Is there an after-party? 

Oh yes! We encourage you to join us for a delicious brunch at Brownies "The Shed" Grille & Bar, which includes both healthy fare and other brunch items. We'll have activities for the kids and DJ Glenn Smith. For those 21 and over, mimosas and bloody marys will be $1. We'll broadcast the UL and UK bowl games beginning at 11 a.m. and the UL-IU game beginning at noon.
