No, parking will be $5 per car. Parking will be limited, consider carpooling.
The start and finish line will be at the same location as parking.
The half marathon course is a lollipop, where runners will do 2 laps of the loop and then come back to the finish after loop 2 is completed. You can view the half marathon course map here.
The 6 hour course is a traditional lollipop route, where runners will come back to the start/finish after every loop. You can view the 6 hour course map here.
Yes, all runners will have 6 hours to complete as many laps as they can or complete the half marathon course.
Both races will start together at 7:00AM. The 6 Hour will end at 1:00PM. No new laps may be started after 12:30 PM. No partial laps will be counted.
If you are running the 6 Hour and plan on taking a break, cross through the finish line and complete your current lap. DO NOT CROSS THE FINISH LINE BEFORE GOING BACK OUT FOR YOUR NEXT LAP. Re-join the course after the finish line.
Yes, this race is chip timed. Your chip is on your bib and should be facing forward. Do not put your bib in your pocket/pack or cover it with a jacket.

Rules & Policies
No, runners cannot switch distances. Any runner who is not able to complete the run MUST inform one of the race directors or aid station captain personally that they are dropping from the race.

Yes, crews are only allowed at the start/finish line. They cannot go out onto the course.
Yes, this course is not closed. It's open for the public to use, please share the trail, and announce yourself when passing someone. Please be respectful to other park-goers.
While we love pets, none are allowed on the course, but are welcome at the start/finish.
Runner Set-Up
No, there is no gear check. However, all runners are allowed to set up tents (no larger than 10x10) at the start/finish area where you can stash your stuff for the day and your crew can hang out at.
Yes, all runners are allowed to set up tents (no larger than 10x10) at the start/finish area where you can stash your stuff for the day and your crew can hang out at. Tent stakes are allowed, please come prepared to weigh down tents in case of inclement weather.
- Absolutely no open fits/fire pit and no propane heaters or cookers.
- You can also use your car as your pit if you want.
- Be respectful and leave your space as you found it. Please pack out your trash
On-Course Support & Amenities
There will be one aid station at the Start/Finish and there will be a smaller aid station on the course that the half marathon runners will hit roughly at miles 3.5 and 8.5. The 6 Hour runners will only have an aid station at the start/finish.
This is a cupless race. We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact. This event will be a cupless race, with the exception of hot items. If you do not provide your own cup at the aid station you will NOT be given one. Bring one.
Water and Tailwind (Naked and Dauwaltermelon flavors), as well as Pickle Juice. Misc items available throughout day will include: fruit, potatoes, veggie broth, quesadillas, grilled cheese, PB&J's, and more!
We strive to accommodate all dietary restrictions, including vegan options. We will have vegan options. However, if you have specific nutrition needs or hydration requirements, we encourage you to supplement using your pit area.
There will be porta-potties at the start/finish area. Additional park restrooms are at the main entrance/beach area. Don’t rely on the cleanliness of the indoor. Carry toilet paper, just in case!
Awards & Finisher Details
All runners will receive a medal at the end of the race - half marathoners as they cross the finish line and 6 hour runners whenever they’ve had enough fun for the day!
Top 3 overall female and male runners from the half marathon and 6 hour will receive awards.
Yes, the awards ceremony will be held near the start/finish line.
