Volunteers are an important part of our events. We always appreciate seeing our community come together for a great cause.
Below are event details so you can volunteer-ready on race day.
** IF you haven't done so already, you MUST sign up online for each individual race date you will be available to attend. Your volunteer waiver must be signed for each race in order to participate, and if you are a student, to receive your service hours. **

- WHAT TO BRING: Come wearing cool, comfortable clothes and sneakers, as you may be asked to run / ride a bike with the kids. Bring water, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and a snack/lunch to have prior to families arriving. ** If you have volunteered with us before, please wear your ORANGE VOLUNTEER SHIRT. IF not, please wear a bright colored orange shirt.
- WEATHER CONDITIONS: We do operate rain or shine, so please be prepared with a rain jacket just in case. Please follow our instagram and facebook pages for any last minute decisions for race day. When in doubt you can always send me a message.
- VOLUNTEER PAPERWORK: Bring any school or work forms that require a signature and confirmation for volunteer hours. If you are in need of a letterhead from the organization, please email me the next day after you volunteered and you will receive the document by the end of the week.
- CONDUCT: We do want to remind everyone that this is a family event where the kids are the stars! We need to refrain from any foul language and/or behavior. We need to make sure our volunteers bring their best cheer energy to the course. We have a diverse group of kids that come out and give it their all. NO MATTER what their physical ability or skill level may be, EVERYONE CROSSES the finish line with all our iTRI family cheering them on as loud and proud as we can!
Estimated timeline for RUN events is as follows:
1:00 PM - 2:45 PM - Set Up
3:00 PM - 3:30 PM - Check-in Process; our awesome iTRI families arrive
3:30 PM - Check in CLOSES
3:40 PM - Warm up begins
4:00 PM - RACE STARTS
4:30PM - 5:00 PM - Estimated finish time
5:00 PM- 5:30 PM - Awards Ceremony (only on final race day)
5:30 PM- 6:00 PM - Tearing down of event
