What does the registration fee include?

One child's event participation, a Kids Ninja Challenge t-shirt, and a finisher medal.  (T-shirts only guaranteed if registered by August 1st)

When is the registration deadline?

Registration closes on August 24th at 11:59pm or prior to this date if all spots fill.

When is the Fundraising deadline?

All donations must be received by 6:00pm, Friday, August 26th in order to be considered for prizes. 

Do I have to fundraise to participate in the event?

Money raised will go towards helping those who are experiencing homelessness and are seeking assistance from one of Miracle Hills programs or facilities. On any given night Miracle Hill has around 650 guests staying in one of our 6 residential facilities, 16 transitional homes, and many upstate foster homes receiving shelter, food, clothing, and care. This event provides a way for kids to raise money and make an impact in their own community!

When do I need to arrive at the event?

All participants must check-in at the "Participant Check-In" tent 30 minutes prior to their wave time - e.g. if your wave time is at 9:00am, check-in is at 8:30am. Please do not check-in before or after this time in order to keep the check-in process smooth for everyone. There will be fun activities for the children to enjoy before and after their wave time.

What happens if it rains?

The event will take place rain or shine. In the case however, of a severe storm or inclement weather authorities may decide to cancel the event the morning of. In the event of a weather cancellation, emails and texts will be sent out to inform registrants.

When will I get my child's t-shirt and fundraising prizes?

Please plan to pick up your participation packet and drop off all cash donations Thursday, August 25th or Friday, August 26th between 11:00am-1:00pm or 3:00pm-6:00pm. If you are unable to pick up your participation packet on Thursday or Friday, please arrive 30 minutes before your wave time to receive the packet at the Participant Check-In Tent. Your packet will consist of your event shirt, goody bag, and any other fundraising items you may have earned. 

Can someone else pick up my participation packet for me?

Yes, pickup will be Thursday, August 25th and Friday, August 26th between 11:00am-1:00pm or 3:00pm - 6:00pm at 490 S. Pleasantburg Drive Greenville, SC 29607.

Is this a timed event?- 

No. We have however expanded the course and worked to make it more challenging. Each child will receive a finisher medal for completing the Ninja Challenge! 

What should kids wear for the Ninja Warrior Course?

Kids should wear comfortable, athletic shoes and clothing that they do not mind getting dirty. We also encourage packing a towel because there is a good chance your Ninja may get wet!

Can I run the course with my kids?

You can run along the outside of the roped-off course to cheer on your kids!

Can my kids run together even if they are of different ages?

Yes! You can register your kids for the same wave time. Kids 8 years old and older will get a 1-minute head start; however, they can stay behind to start with a younger sibling if desired. 

How hard is the course?

This event is called the Kids Ninja Challenge because it is just that...a challenge! We have added more obstacles this year and have kept running element throughout the course. Some obstacles will be more difficult than others, but we want participants to feel accomplished once they finish the challenge.

Do I have to do every obstacle?

A participant can opt-out of an obstacle by going around it, but we encourage all Ninjas to attempt every obstacle! Volunteers will also be each obstacle assisting Ninjas along the way. 

How do the wave times work?

Waves start at 8:00am and are released every 10 minutes. There will be 25 kids in each wave. All participants should be at the start line 5 minutes before their designated wave time. Kids 8 years old and older will be given a 1-minute head start. Register soon because some wave times are more popular than others and will fill up fast. 

Will restrooms be available?

Yes. Portable restrooms will be available.

What if I get hurt?

Our course is designed with safety as our number one priority. However, in the event an injury occurs, we will have an EMT and paramedics on site.

Where should I park?

Parking is available at the facility, however we recommend carpooling when possible.
