HOW TO RUN/ RIDE A VIRTUAL ELEVATION CHALLENGE
REGISTER
*DEADLINE to register is July 20th, 2021 @5:00pm MDT
- Sign up for the event you want to participate in, here on the Run SignUp registration page.
SWAG
- We will submit the finisher data to our partners and will start mailing swag by mid- September!
*Note: No international shipping.
RUN/ RIDE
- The next step is to complete the challenge you signed up for between the dates that are specified in the instructions or on the web site. Since this is a "Virtual" event, you can RUN or RIDE wherever and whenever you want.

All Deadlines are Mountain Daylight Time, 11:59pm.
LOG ACTIVITIES MUST BE WITHIN YOUR CHALLENGE TIME-FRAME. Athlete may backlog their vert from June 19th- August 30th.
POST YOUR PROGRESS
- After completing your individual segments, please post your results to this web site, using the Results link at the top of the page. You can log daily, the platform will track your progress based on the event you signed up for and will also let you know when you have reached the elevation goal challenge. There are no awards for our virtual races, as everything is on the honor system when posting race results.
PRINT YOUR FINISHERS CERTIFICATE
- After you complete the challenge, be sure to print your custom finishers certificate. Simply click on your name in the results page after they are posted and click the link below your bib number in the upper right hand corner. See photo below
UPLOAD PHOTOS ONTO YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA AND SHARE

While you are climbing, and especially after completing your challenge, be sure to post photos, GPS images, % grade images and other cool pics to our Facebook event page. Inspire others and show off the hills you took to town!

Note: In order to receive the Finisher belt buckle you are required to submit results and complete the 100,000Ft Elevation challenge. No international shipping for buckles and tshirts.
IS THERE A SPECIFIC APP WE NEED TO USE TO TRACK OUR ELEVATION?
You can track your elevation gain with a number of different apps and programs (ie strava, garmin connect). You can even calculate elevation gain on a treadmill https://www.livestrong.com/article/525801-how-to-calculate-an-elevation-gain-for-a-treadmill/
CAN I COMPLETE MY VIRTUAL EVENT WITHOUT MY BIB?
The bib is not required to be worn during the run or bike.
HOW DO I FIND THE GIF STICKERS?
You may find these in Instagram. Type Leadville when searching for GIFS and you will be able to see a variety of awesome Leadville 100K FT Challenge GIFs
RELAY TRACKING?
DO BOTH RELAY MEMBER's RECEIVE THE BELT BUCKLE ?
Yes, the relay must complete the challenge. Combined complete the 100,000 Ft elevation gain.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY FINISHER SWAG?
We will begin mailing your finisher swag starting by mid- September to the address you provided during registration. Finisher swag will only be mailed to those who submit finish times and elevation gain.

CAN NON-US RESIDENTS PARTICIPATE?
Yes, the Virtual Elevation Challenge is open to anybody. However, International Finisher Swag shipping fees may apply.

HOW DO I UPLOAD MY PICTURES?
- Visit the PHOTOS tab: https://runsignup.com/Race/Photos/CO/Leadville/ltrchallenge
- Search for your account via your name or bib number
- Click Start Uploading Photos
HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MY BIB?
Click here to visit your Profile. From there, you will see "View Digital Bib" on the right panel of your registration for this event. You must be logged into your RSU account to access this.
HOW DO I TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION TO A DIFFERENT CHALLENGE?
Deadline to switch events is July 18, 2021
- Sign In to RunSignUp
- Go to your Profile
- See your events under Upcoming Events
- Click on "Manage Registration".
- Click on the "Transfer Challenge" Menu item at the top of the page and Start Transfer
NOTE: If you have already logged activities for this virtual event, they will NOT be transferred to the new event. All activities will need to be re-entered.
HOW DO UPDATE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS?
Deadline to update shipping address is July 25, 2021
- Sign In to RunSignUp
- Go to your Profile
- See your events under Upcoming Events
- Click on "Manage Registration".
- Click on the "Shipping" Menu item at the top of the page and update your shipping address.
Note :Shipments will begin 8/24 and are limited to the continental US. Shipments will be sent to the shipping address provided during registration.

HOW DO I RESEND MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL?
RunSignUp allows you to access your registration through your Profile. From there you can resend your confirmation email if you have misplaced it, or if you have not received it
Note: If you did not receive your confirmation make sure to check your Spam/Clutter folders.
You will always be able to resend the registration confirmation for any registrations associated with your Profile (including any sub-accounts of yours) by following these steps:
- Sign In to RunSignUp
- Go to your Profile
- See your events under Upcoming Events
- Click Resend Confirmation next to the registration that you would like to resend the confirmation email.
- Check the email listed in your Profile for your registration confirmation
Click Resend Confirmation next to the registration that you would like to resend the registration confirmation.
At that point, the confirmation email will be sent to the email address associated with that registration. If the original confirmation message did not send because you had a typo in an email address, you will need to update this information as explained in How to Correct Typo/Modify Profile.
HOW DO I RESET MY RSU PASSWORD?
If you ever happen to forget your password, simply open up the “Login” , and click Forgot Password? At this point, you can enter in the email address you use to access your RunSignup account, and click on the button labeled Send Reset Password Link
After clicking the “Reset Password” button, you will receive an email with a unique link allowing you to reset the password for your RunSignUp account.
