What is a Virtual Race?
The Opportunities, Inc. Virtual “Paddle, Hike, Jog, or Bike” is an event you can do anywhere! Kick-off Spring right by staying healthy and active in your own backyard, while also supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities!
When will I receive my medal and other items?
Currently, we are planning to have a packet pickup on Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 10 AM-1 PM at Academy Sports + Outdoors in Texarkana, TX.
If you don’t live in Texarkana, or can’t attend the pickup, packets will be mailed on Friday, May 7, 2021.
The purchase deadline to receive packets by race-day is Friday, April 30, 2021.
If you do not choose to have your package shipped, and are not available for packet pickup, please contact the development office and we will have hours available for you to pick up your race pack at our campus.
What is the race registration deadline?
You can Register until the DAY OF THE RACE! We want everyone to be a part of our fun!
Please note, the purchase deadline to receive packets by race-day is Friday, April 30, 2021.
Racers who register after that day will be shipped their packets as soon as possible.
How do I get involved on social media?
We highly encourage participants to take pictures or videos during their races! Post your pictures on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #OppIncVirtual21

Do I have to complete my race on May 15th?
No! May 15th is our designated race day for participants and gyms that are hosting teams and/or events. While we encourage participants to complete the race on May 15th, we understand that sometimes things don't go according to plan, or there are conflicting activities. Since the race is virtual, you have the freedom to complete your race on any day. Just be sure to tag us in your social posts, and wear your race day shirt!
