We can only make this race happen each year with plenty of helping hands. Click here to volunteer!
Choose how you want to help this year:
- Parking Attendants
- Arrive by 7:00 am
- Help us ensure that everyone has space to park on race day! We need people who are great at directing others and can fit cars closely together.
- Check-in/Registration
- Arrive by 7:00 am
- You will be welcoming the participants as they arrive! Must be able to download the RunSignUp app on your personal phone and use it to check people in. Tasks also include passing out race bibs and timer chips to each person, collecting money, and distributing t-shirts.
- Course Marshal
- Arrive by 7:30 am
- You will stay at one pre-determined location on the course to ensure all participants stay on the trail. You will also help us collect the signs along the course after the race concludes.
- First Aid
- Arrive by 7:30 am
- Must be First Aid & CPR certified. We will provide the equipment that might be needed.
- Race Photographers
- Arrive by 7:45 am
- Bring your own camera and have fun taking candids throughout the race! We will need one person on the race course and another taking photos as each participant crosses the finish line. All images will need to be shared with PVAS within a week of the race
All volunteers get a free race t-shirt, snacks, and coffee to start the day off right!
Can't help on race day? Consider lending a hand with course prep! We will have workdays on the following days, with two shifts each day from 10:00-1:00 and 1:00 -3:00:
