Event Safety
For a preview of the courses, click here. There will be plenty of water at a water station on the 5K route that you'll pass at around the halfway point, as well as plenty at the finish line (the 1-mile walk will have water at the finish line only). If you know you're a "thirsty" runner and would like to have additional hydration with you on the course, we highly recommend bringing your personal fluids to ensure you stay safe.
There will be a lead bike for the front runners to follow, as well as arrow signs and route assistants at turns to be sure you're going the correct way. Please stay to the right, do not block the entire pathway, and be aware of your surroundings. Lastly: running strollers and portable music players are allowed (please listen at a volume appropriate to hear instructions from any volunteers and race officials).
Running with dogs, and participation on bicycles, scooters, and inline skating are all strictly prohibited for the safety of all participants.
