   • This family friendly evening event at the Philadelphia Zoo and will consist of a walk through the zoo where participants can enjoy the zoo and children can receive school supplies, child must be present (while supplies last).

   • This event will take place in-person at the Philadelphia Zoo, 3400 W Girard Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
4. What time does this event start?
   • 5:00pm – 9:00pm: Arrive anytime between 5:00pm – 8:30pm to check into the event
   • 8:30pm: Doors close at 8:30pm, if you arrive after this time you will not be allowed to enter the event
   • 9:00pm: Event ends at 9:00pm, all guests must exit the zoo at this time

   • Other options include registering over the phone at 215-967-4514, Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. There is no on-site registration.
6. What does it cost to register for the event?
   • Free for Health Partners Plans and Jefferson Health Plans (JHP) members *if registering as a member, you must bring and show your HPP or JHP Member ID card to the event for each registered member
   • $20 for non-members
7. Do I need to bring my HPP or JHP Member ID card to the event?
   • If you are registering for the event as a Health Partners Plans or Jefferson Health Plans member, you will need to bring and show your Member ID card to the event for each registered member
8. Do I have to register my child for the event?
   • Yes, all children 2 years or older must be registered for the event.
9. What is included with my registration for this event?
   • Admission to the Philadelphia Zoo during the event, snack and children will receive a backpack with school supplies, child must be present *while supplies last. 
10. Will there be food and drinks provided at this event?
    • Yes, a snack will be provided per guest while supplies last. 
11. Where can I park at the Philadelphia Zoo? 
    • Parking is free for all guests during this event in the Zoo Parking Garage
    • Street parking may also be found

    • Route #15 bus and Route #38 bus

    • Yes, the Philadelphia Zoo is wheelchair accessible
14. Is there a bag check to enter the Philadelphia Zoo?
    • Bags are allowed into the Philadelphia Zoo, but there is a bag screening process for everyone that enters. Each screening only takes a moment and involves a wand to screen guests, bags, strollers, briefcases, purses and containers. The following items are strictly prohibited:
      • Weapons/firearms or items that appear to be weapons, including toy guns
      • Knives/blades longer than 3.5 inches
      • Clubs, hammers, martial arts devices, and related items
      • Flammable liquids and gases greater than 0.5 oz
      • Fireworks, ammunitions, explosive devices, and related materials
      • Paint and related marking materials; spray cans and other aerosols
      • Other items deemed dangerous, suspicious, or inappropriate

    • There is no bag storage at the Philadelphia Zoo for this event.
