About this Race Series
The Getting Miles Athletic Club is excited to announce the first annual Fort Wayne Park Race Series. With the support of UAW Local 2209, we are able to host this free race series open to kids age 12 and under. Complete all four races to win fun prizes at the end of the season.
Shoaff Park Long Mile
Buckner Park Mile
Franke Park Derby Mile
Double Dragon Two Mile
Male and female runners will be placed into one of four age groups at each race:
6U
7-8
9-10
11-12
Runners will receive points based on age group and gender place. Points will be awarded to all runners who finish.
Awards for participation and point series for the race season will be presented at the conclusion of the Derby Mile.
Race dates are posted, but are subject to change. All dates will be finalized by February 1st.
