About this Race Series

Race series birthdate is calculated based on the participants age on May 17th.

CAPA Color Run, Hillsdale,  May 17th 9am

Moreni Run for the Roses 5K, June 7th, 9am

Sacred Heart School 5K, May 24th Hudson 9am

Pittsford Firecracker 5&10K, Pittsford July 5th  8:30 10K, 9am, 5K 8:40am 10K

Q- Town 5K, Quincy, August 15th, 7pm

Shawns 5K Run/ Walk, Hillsdale September 13, 9am

Fall Freedom 5K for Wreaths Across America, Hillsdale October 12th 2pm

Grosvenor Gobble, Jonesville, November 9th 2pm

Series Champion will be the highest total score of the 0-39 year age groups

Master champion will be the highest total score of the 40-59 year age groups

Grand Master champion will be the highest total score of the 60 and up year age groups

Each age and gender group has series medals for the top three participants in a minimum of five races.  (All eight races score)  

Scoring per age group:

1st place - 10 points

2nd place- 8 points

3rd place- 6 points

4th place- 5 points

5th place- 4 points

6th place- 3 points

7th+          2 points

In case of a tie at the end of the season, the following will be used: The runner who has the most head-to-head victories against a tied competitor will be awarded the prize. If there is still a tie, the winner of the last head-to-head meeting will be declared the winner.
