About this Race Series

THE Virginia Beach Lifeguard Association  OCEAN SWIM SERIES
1mile, 3k, and 5k 
Our goal for the Ocean Swim Series is to present confident ocean swimmers with a challenging race among strong competitors and to give novice or first time ocean swimmers a chance to compete under the watchful eyes of top lifesavers.
In return you support our local lifesavers efforts to promote lifesaving education, compete at local, regional and national competitions and build morale among the current lifesaving crew.  Series results are scored by  Gender place overall at each competition based on the number of possible participants in the series. 300 Participants would give the winner 300 points for that event. Etc. 
 

                                                        June 15 - 'JK' 1 Mile
                                                         July 13 - 3K or 1 Mile
                                                         August 03 - 5K or 1 Mile
